Two Rivers Park, Glenwood Springs, Colorado. June 7, 2014, checkin begins 4 PM. Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis is CCFA's largest fundraising event and the nation's only walk dedicated to finding a cure for digestive diseases. Participants raise funds throughout the year to find a cure and come together to celebrate the steps taken when no American has to suffer with digestive diseases and Crohn's or colitis. A cure is within our reach yet we need you.

Take Steps is CCFA's largest fundraiser, and the nation's only walk, dedicated to funding cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
12:00 PM | Anchorage, Alaska
Team Challenge is the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America's endurance training and fundraising program, which provides training to complete a half marathon. Participants raise funds for Crohn’s and colitis research and patient services in exchange for training, support, lodging, and airfare to the event (gold).
3:30 PM | Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Join fellow Team Challenge participants on a the course where the party meets the pavement in the Windy City. Join the party in the fastest growing half marathon series in the country. You’ll get to enjoy the sights and sounds of Chicago through this new and exciting way to race.

Our Take Steps walks offer a wonderful day for family, friends and the community to celebrate all of the efforts that have been put forth in raising funds towards our mission. Our walk events are filled with live music, food, kids’ entertainment, educational materials, and, of course, wonderful exposure for our corporate partners. Take Steps for Crohn’s & colitis is a family friendly community walk dedicated to raising awareness and mission-critical funds for cures for digestive diseases. In the past five years alone, we succeeded in bringing together over 100,000 people and raised close to $40 million to help further CCFA’s mission. 80 cents of every dollar raised goes towards breakthrough research, public and professional education, and patient support services in communities across the nation. Many patients feel that they are alone in their struggle with IBD, not knowing how to explain to others what they go through. Take Steps provides the perfect environment for patients and their families to come together and know they are not alone in this fight. The afternoon is filled with music, food, kids activities, local entertainment and most importantly the company of hundreds of people who truly understand the impacts of IBD.
