Buffalo Support Group *LOCATION CHANGE*
Our support group has officially outgrown our current meeting space and will be moving to the DENT Tower at 3980 Sheridan Drive (click here for a map) beginning on March 24.  As always, the group will meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 7:30-9pm.

Support groups offer important information about coping with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and provide a community of support for individuals and their loved ones.  Our goal is to help alleviate fears and concerns through education and group discussions.

Newly Formed Kids and Teens Group

We know how difficult it is to live with UC or Crohn's as a teen and that's why we created this group– you are not alone! This is a place where you can learn and connect with other teens who share their stories and experiences in a casual setting-- we'll have games and music and snacks.  Led by two young adults who have been there and can offer their support.

Second Wednesday of every month starting in February (2/10, 3/10, 4/14, 5/12)
Children's Hospital Board Room. 6-7:30pm.

Family members and friends are encouraged to attend as well. We meet at the CCFA office from 7pm - 9 pm the 2nd Monday of the following months: October, November, March, April, May. Dash's Market Tape Saver Program

Dash's Market will help the CCFA/WNY by contributing $5.00 for every $100.00 in Dash's Market register receipts. The program will begin with an initial redemption of $5,000.00 in tape value. I think that this could be a worthwhile fund raising project and am willing to coordinate/facilitate it.

Needless to say, I am personally quite far from the $5,000.00 needed to begin, but, if among the readership of this newsletter there are a number of Dash's shoppers, let's combine our tapes and get going. A couple of ways to go about it: either send me a bunch of saved tapes and I'll do the accounting or save $1,000.00 worth of tapes and send them then.
