Crohn's and Colitis Central Texas Area Support Group

Start Date: November 10, 2015
Time: 6:30-8 PM

The Crohn's and Colitis Support Group is an opportunity for patients and family members to connect with others living with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. These informal gatherings provide the opportunity for patients and their loved ones to share stories, seek emotional support, find answers to their questions and connect with a community that shares their challenges.

Co-facilitated by Kristin Collins, RN, BSN, and Julia B. Turner, RN, participants get to interact directly with Baylor Scott & White Health IBD Clinicians who work with IBD patients on a daily basis. Trained by the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), the facilitators help attendees find answers to their questions and provide support ideas on how to manage IBD with work, school, social life and family life.

Patients, family members or friends of individuals who currently or in the past have had to deal with Crohn's or Colitis are welcome to attend, ages 18+.
