Mission

President Richard Geswell discusses CCFA's mission.

The mission of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.

We are proud to announce that for the fourth year in a row, CCFA has achieved the coveted 4- star rating for sound fiscal management, commitment to accountability and transparency from Charity Navigator -- America's premier charity evaluator. Charity Navigator highlights the fine work of efficient, ethical and open charities with the goal of providing donors with essential information needed to give them greater confidence in the charitable choices they make.

Receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that CCFA adheres to good governance and other best practices and that we consistently execute our mission in a fiscally responsible way. Only 8% of the charities rated have received at least 4 consecutive 4-star evaluations which indicates that we outperform most other charities in America.
