There are a variety of ways that you can help support and get involved with the North Texas Chapter. Whether you donate your time, money, resources or skills, you can help make a difference in the lives of the over 1.4 million American suffering from Crohn’s Disease or Ulcerative Colitis. Leadership Board Member:

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is a volunteer driven organization. We rely heavily on board members to carry out our mission, provide leadership and uphold our core values. We are seeking diversely talented and willing individuals who can meet emerging chapter needs based on their expertise, skills, resources, etc.

Volunteer:

Become a Member:
As a member of CCFA, you will help us further the cause while receiving special membership benefits, including subscription to the chapter newsletter, national magazine, discounts on CCFA books and invitations to participate in events and programs. Individual memberships are only $30. For more information about becoming a member of CCFA, please contact our chapter office at 972.386.0607. 


Sponsor or Attend an event:
We have various events throughout the year that appeal to all ages and interests. Whether you like walking, running, golfing or any other type of social event, consider joining us for one of our many fundraising events for CCFA. Workplace Giving:
Choosing CCFA as the recipient of your workplace giving campaign is one very important way you can help to find a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

If your company participates in annual United Way – be sure to write in NTX Crohn's and Colitis Foundation and provide the Foundation's EIN 13-6193105. 

The CCFA, North Texas Chapter is a member of Community Health Charities.  Employees of corporations, federal agencies, and state/municipal governments nationwide have the option to give to CCFA through Community Health Charities which has more than 50 years of experience in workplace giving. Matching Gifts:
You may be able to double or even triple your donation to CCFA. Many employers across the state of Texas offer matching gift programs to match charitable donations made by their employees. Contact your Human Resources Department to find out if your company has a matching gift program.  If your gift is eligible to be matched, obtain a matching gift form from your employer, complete the employee portion of the form and send it to us.



Honor a Loved One with a Tribute Card:
Making a donation in honor of in memory of a friend or loved one is a meaningful way of helping CCFA in our quest to find cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Your tribute gift to CCFA is a compassionate gesture that will make a difference in the lives of people with IBD.

You can make a tribute or memorial donation and have us send a tribute card (suggested minimum donation $25.00) to notify the specified individual of your kindness.  Your tribute gift can be mailed to our office or charged to a credit card by calling 972-386-0607 or emailing Vernessa Thomas at vthomas@ccfa.org.


CCFA Holiday Cards:
Purchase your CCFA Holiday Cards today at www.ccfa.org/cards. You can choose from a selection of custom and pre-printed cards as well as personalized note cards. Proceeds benefit our reserach and support programs.
