Challenge Yourself to Change a Life!

Team Challenge is the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation's endurance training program.  This exciting fundraising program trains you to RUN or WALK a half marathon while helping the Foundation raise funds to find a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
Team Challenge is gearing up for the exciting half marathon even in fun and exciting Napa Valley! 


The North Texas Chapter is pumped up and hopes to make this a record breaking year!  The race is already sold out to the public, so the only way in is through Team Challenge!

Interns Needed
We are currently looking for full and part time interns.
POSITION SUMMARY:  The North Texas Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America is offering an exciting opportunity to learn about marketing, communications, event planning and the non-profit industry. Volunteer Interns will assist in advertising/ public relations campaigns, event marketing and logistics to guarantee success of various chapter campaigns such as: Take Steps Fundraising Walks, Team Challenge Endurance half-marathon fundraising program, Putt for a Purpose Golf Tournament, Fall Education programs and other special projects. This is an unpaid position. Class credit may be available.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Coordinate and implement public awareness of CCFA and our mission
• Assist chapter team leaders with press releases, creative advertising, grassroots marketing, including being available to assist with marketing/tabling events to attract fundraising participants
• Participate in GI doctor office visits to deliver CCFA/ campaign information
• Coordinate elements of promotional and marketing activities
• Prepare and maintain assigned campaign communications, correspondence, records and statistical reports as needed
• Assist in managing call and email outreach to potential and existing participants, sponsors and other organizations
• Social media and website maintenance
