MORE INFORMATION

Volunteer Opportunties with the Northwest Chapter
The Northwest Chapter is currently seeking committee volunteers and event volunteers in the following areas:

    • Annual Benefit Luncheon
      May 1, 2012
We will be recruiting for luncheon volunteers to assist with raffle sales, guest check-in, guest greeters, set-up & clean-up. To sign up, please contact Jennifer Simmons at (425) 451-8455 or jsimmons@ccfa.org. Volunteer shifts begin at 9 am.  Volunteers are welcome to attend the event.
    • Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis
Join one of the event's committees or volunteer day-of. You'll help with corporate development, team building & recruitment, and/or event planning. Take Steps volunteer opportunities are available in Seattle, Portland, Spokane and Boise. To sign up, please contact Elizabeth Collins at ecollins@ccfa.org.
    • Team Challenge for Crohn's & Colitis
Team Challenge, a 13.1-mile walking and running training program, is currently recruiting volunteers interested in helping market and recruit participants. If you would like to help with CCFA's fastest growing event, please contact Cody Geddes at cgeddes@ccfa.org for the Seattle area, or Brett Farrell at bfarrell@ccfa.org for the Portland area
      .

    • Camp Oasis
June 24 - June 30 (volunteer training on June 23)
Camp Oasis is a summer camp for youth with IBD between the ages of 7-17.  We are thrilled to be able to hold our camp locally at YMCA Camp Colman in Longbranch, WA (south Puget Sound), and every year we need volunteer medical staff (physicians, nurses and mental health professionals) and weeklong volunteer cabin counselors (18 & above - you must be a high school graduate by camp in order to be eligible).  If you are interested in volunteering for this amazing week-long experience, please see www.ccfa.org/camps for more information.  Both camper and volunteer online applications are available starting in January of each year at www.ccfa.org/camps.  Still have questions?  Please contact us at northwest@ccfa.org.
    • GI Office Visit Volunteers - We could use your help getting our educational brochures and event materials out to the many gastroenterologist offices in our chapter, so if you are willing to help us in that way, please contact us at northwest@ccfa.org.  If you can help with this but you don't live close enough to stop by our Bellevue office to pick up the materials, we may be able to mail them to you.
    • Office Volunteers - please inquire at northwest@ccfa.org for information on current office volunteer opportunities.  We frequently prepare mailings and materials for both our educational and special events, and we would love your help!
