Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis is CCFA's largest fundraising event. Participants raise funds and awareness throughout the year and come together on Walk Day to celebrate the steps that have been taken towards a cure. For more information, contact Ali Berger at aberger@ccfa.org or 646-943-7408.

Brooklyn Take Steps 

BARUCH SHEMTOV.jpg We are excited to announce that the Master of Ceremony for our 5th Annual Brooklyn Take Steps walk will be Baruch Shemtov of FOX 5 News!
Baruch joined FOX 5 in January of 2015. Raised in Manhattan, Baruch is passionate about everything the City has to offer, from the arts to politics and everything in between. Before joining FOX 5, Baruch interviewed some of the world’s most influential leaders and cultural figures including Senator John McCain, Prime Minister Gordon Brown, President Pervez Musharraf, President Alvaro Uribe, Secretary Madeleine Albright, Yo-Yo Ma, Kristen Stewart, James Franco, Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, Spike Lee and many others. Baruch is also a Special Correspondent on Extra and #waywire and the New York Host on Young Hollywood.
Join Baruch, our Honorees, Amanda and Cassandra Vallon, and other IBD patients and supporters around the community on Sunday, October 9th, as we walk for cures and take a stand against IBD!

Team Challenge is the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America’s endurance training and fundraising program. With Team Challenge, you’ll find new strength inside yourself and help find cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, two painful, seldom-discussed and debilitating digestive diseases.Trains locally in NYC and races at these fabulous destination events, while raising money towards a cure.  For more information, contact Megan Keane at mkeane@ccfa.org or 646-388-9293.
