Support Groups

Here is a listing of support groups in your area. We encourage you to attend these local programs. If there is not a group in your area, or if the groups listed are not at a convenient time, try our online support education group! Our online support group is a four-week program with weekly chat sessions that cover specific IBD-related topics and allows participants to share their views.

  • CCFA Adult Support Group: Beverly, MA

    Meets the first Thursday of every month (beginning June 4th 2015) from 7pm to 8pm in the Garden Conference Room, on the First Floor of Beverly Hospital. This group is open to Crohn's and UC patients, their families and friends. The group will offer support, coping skills and resources for all that attend.

  • CCFA Family/Pediatric Support Group: UMass Medical Center

  • Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis Support Group: Springfield, MA

    Announcing a new support group in western Massachusetts! Come meet with other people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) to tell your story and offer and receive support. The group is for education and mutual support, and can include guest speakers on various topics if we like. Everything said there will be held in confidence. Meets at Bay State Hospital in Springfield, Davis Family Heart and Vascular Center, Room 3005, 2 to 4pm. Check in at Daly Front Entrance Desk for directions.
