Gordon is the Director of Marketing & Sales for United Services of Des Moines. Gordon holds degrees from The University of Iowa and from Texas Tech University. During Gordon's sophomore year in Iowa City in 1983, he was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. After a long, tough battle over the next 10+ years, and with the help of his doctor in Lawrence, Kansas, Gordon finally found a treatment plan that put his disease into remission. Gordon now has a full and active life with his family and friends, enjoys his physical fitness routines, and is a successful college basketball official.
