The Indiana chapter is dedicated to providing support for every Hoosier dealing with Crohn’s and Colitis. Please visit the "Support Groups" link or contact us to find a support group in your area or to be connected to other patients and families.
CCFA Indiana is proud to participate in the workplace giving campaign of Community Health Charities. At many workplaces throughout Indiana, employees can direct contributions to the charity of their choice. Look for our name and agency code in your company campaign. If you don't find us, please ask your employer to add CCFA. If your workplace does not have a giving campaign through Community Health Charities, please contact us and we will work with you to establish that campaign.
Power of Two
Power of Two is a one-on-one CCFA support program that connects people facing challenges brought on by living with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Individuals seeking help are matched with a peer mentor who has experienced similar medical and personal concerns. Power of Two peer mentors are trained to support participants through phone, email, or video chat exchanges.
The program is open to people with Crohn’s or colitis and those with children, family members, or other loved ones with these diseases. Anyone over the age of 10 can apply to be a mentor to provide insights into living with Crohn’s and colitis. (Individuals under the age of 18 will need parental/guardian consent.)
Whether you are seeking support or are willing to help others as a peer mentor, please contact Jo Bender, Indiana Chapter Director at firstname.lastname@example.org or 317.259.8071 to learn more about Power of Two.
Request Support - Mentee Application
The Pediatric Network is a collaboration of more than 30 centers throughout the US and Canada including one in Indiana. This network of institutions is gathering data from newly diagnosed pediatric patients to build the foundation for research that will enable physicians to better predict a patient’s prognosis at the time of diagnosis, customize individualized therapy and decrease toxicity often caused by the trial and error method of treatment.
