CCFA Working it Out at Atlanta Fall Fit Fest with CBS Atlanta 

On Saturday, October 13th, CBS Atlanta and the famous Stepp Stewart host the Atlanta Fall Fit Fest! The event will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and is free to the public for a full day of fitness fun. Stepp Stewart has been known to appear on the Oprah Winfrey show and the Dr. Oz show, and even performed on broadway for his incredible moves and positive attitude. Stepp wants to encourage everyone to get up and move, because that is how he came from battling obesity to being a fitness guru.

The Atlanta Fit Fest has offered the CCFA Georgia Chapter a table at the event on Saturday, so we hope you'll come and see us! Who knows who might show up?

Actor from The Secret Life of the American Teenager Talks about Crohn's

Who knew that actor Ken Baumann from The Secret Life of the American Teenager was battling Crohn's Disease behind the scenes? Now that Ken has had two surgeries due to this difficult disease, he goes to Dr. Drew to shed some light on inflammatory bowel disease. Baumann, now happily married and enjoying his career as an actor, wants to help everyone dealing with IBD to feel more comfortable discussing it and living the highest quality of life possible. He discusses that he knows not everyone has a support system to help them through these things, and it's an important part of getting through the tough times. Watch as Ken explains the "ins and outs" of his Crohn's to Dr. Drew and America.

Team Challenge Georgia's Own Coach Max on HLN Morning Express with Robin Meade!

June 20th, 2012 - Maxim Nazaire is not only a coach for all of Team Challenge Georgia's events, he's also a personal trainer. Max started his own personal training company called Fit2DMax, helping busy people still feel like they have time and are able to be in the best shape possible, with simple techniques and maximum results. On Wednesday, June 20th, Max was a special guest on HLN Morning Express with Robin Meade, and Meteorologist Bob Van Dillen, to show different workout techniques for working thighs and calves if you have bad knees.
