Research Resources New! Challenges in IBD Research This new section discusses CCFA's action plan to meet the needs of the research community. The Challenges directives identify the priorities and resources that are essential for moving research from the laboratory bench to the patient's bedside. Some examples of the content to be provided here include: * Databases available for research * Animal Models * Genetic Research, including DNA and Cell Line Banks and ongoing studies * Endoscopic Evaluation Tools and Scales * Clinical Activity Indices * Histology Scoring Systems * Tissue and Serum Measurements * IBD Centers * IBD Investigator Database with area of investigation/interest Under the auspices of CCFA's National Scientific Advisory Committee, the content will be developed, reviewed, and then presented here to create a one-of-a-kind, everything-at-your-fingertips resource. updated 5/13/08 |
