The program has limited space and is open to 13 participants. The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America will pay for all program-related expenses, including travel, accommodations, and meals as well as a stipend. This is an opportunity to enhance the quality of treatment for Crohn's and colitis patients by following a standard curriculum designed by expert faculty with real-world experience. All community-based gastroenterologists who want to develop and expand their expertise in managing Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis will be considered but priority will be given to physicians without local access to a tertiary IBD Center. Here is what some former Preceptees are saying about the program: "It was a fantastic opportunity to see patients in conjunction with expert faculty." "The faculty was wonderful and the center was top notch." "It was nice to have interactions with experienced IBD attendings." For program inquiries contact preceptorship@ccfa.org.
