I'm Lauren, a student at Barnard College majoring in Economics. I've had symptoms of ulcerative colitis for a large portion of my life but I was officially diagnosed in 2010. Since then, I've had a total colectomy and an ileostomy, had a j-pouch constructed, and my ostomy reversed. I'd love to connect with other IBDers and people with ostomies or j-pouches.
