U.S. SENATORS IN SUPPORT OF
H.R. 5213, THE "RESEARCH REVIEW ACT"

1) My name is ___________, I am constituent of the Senator's from ___________, and a patient (or family member of a patient) with inflammatory bowel disease.

2) I am calling to encourage the Senator to work to pass H.R. 5213, the "Research Review Act" in the Senate during the lame duck session in November.

3) H.R. 5213 contains provisions that are important to the inflammatory bowel disease community, including studies on Medicare and Medicaid coverage for IBD therapies and Social Security disability for patients.

4) This important legislation passed the House of Representatives on October 7th by a vote of 418-0.
