Part Time Development Manager - Western New York

CCFA seeks a part time Development Manager for its Western New York Chapter located in Buffalo, New York to manage all aspects of its special events programs (direct solicitation of sponsors; logistics; volunteer management; budget oversight; etc.). This position is also responsible for all marketing, public relations and donor communications activity related to special events with some major gifts solicitations.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a college degree with 3-5 years experience in special events/fundraising and be highly motivated, organized and detail oriented. An effective communicator with strong writing skills (grant writing a plus) and previous experience managing/motivating volunteers is a must. Proficiency in MS Office is required; knowledge of Raiser's Edge is a plus. This position requires some evenings/weekends.
