Development Director - San Diego, CAThe Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America seeks a Development Director for its Greater San Diego and Desert Area Chapter. Responsibilities include planning and management of chapter development programs, research of new fundraising initiatives and grant opportunities, preparation and follow-up of funding proposals, identification of major gift donors, and active participation in promotional activities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of development experience and be familiar with the San Diego and Desert region. Other requirements include excellent oral and written communications skills and demonstrated proficiency in research and grants-writing, donor cultivation, and major gifts. Proficiency in MS office required, Raiser's Edge preferred. This candidate will be joining a strong team in the field of development, participate in the Foundation's strategic planning and have interface with the CCFA Board of Trustees.
